Thomas brings more than 15 years of study in child development and youth behavior, alongside 20 years of hands-on experience. His perspective is shaped by his roles as a parent, community leader and educator.
Those experiences inform a practical belief: helping children and youth thrive takes people who care, useful opportunities and the resources to keep showing up.
Building the means to make it happen.
With more than 17 years of experience in web development and WordPress, Thomas also brings a builder’s approach to Good Ground. He is connecting that technical experience with the company’s long-term mission—developing the digital tools and commercial foundation that can support the work ahead.
Why the Good Ground.
The name the Good Ground draws from the Parable of the Sower: seeds flourish when they have good ground in which to grow. For Thomas, that image speaks to the conditions surrounding a young person—the care, guidance, resources and opportunities that help growth take root.
The work is to strengthen that support alongside families, caregivers, educators and communities—and to bring more people into the effort.
Gardening and woodworking are part of Thomas’s life beyond the screen. His hands-on approach carries into this mission: build thoughtfully, tend the work and keep improving what comes next.
