• Our approach

Listen closely. Learn carefully. Build what helps.

Useful support starts with understanding the people, needs and opportunities in front of us.

Research gives us better questions.

We examine the needs and barriers affecting children, youth and families, then use that work to guide what we build. Evidence matters most when it stays connected to real lives.

That means looking beyond a headline or an isolated statistic. We ask what a finding means, where its limits lie and how it relates to the people we want to support.

Community gives the work more voices.

The Village brings together parents, caregivers, educators and people ready to help. It is a place to share experience, discover useful resources and find others who care about the same work.

Someone else may have faced the question you are asking. You may have experience that helps them take their next step. That exchange is part of what we want to grow.

Turn your interest into a useful next step.

There is room for different kinds of participation. Choose the connection that fits what you want to contribute.

Free membership is for people who want to learn, share and support the mission. Parents, caregivers, educators and other community members all have a place in the conversation.

Qualifying individuals, businesses and organizations can discuss a professionally designed website for a mission-aligned initiative. A separate application, review and approval are required; membership does not automatically include a website.

Expertise, services, resources and introductions can each help. Tell us what your organization does and where you see a connection with the mission.

Our commercial ventures, including SiteHeros, are part of the foundation behind the mission. You can also ask about supporting a program area or contributing skills and resources.
